As I knew I wouldn’t see him again for another week…I felt a rush of feelings and I’m not sure if time indeed stopped.
All I know is that it happened in slow motion.
As we leaned forward to a kiss of goodbye,
His hand on my back and mine on his,
Our bodies somehow closer…
Alright, okay! Time didn’t stop.
We tried to delay the moment as much as we could,
But finally, the inevitable…
My lips touched his face…
Inches away from heaven.

My dear, how I know what those feelings are! What it feels like to have him a few meters away and can do nothing about it. Must kiss him in the cheeks when we want to kiss in the lips.
It is hard to be apart from those we love. It is hard not to know when we will see them again. You know. I know. I think everybody knows.
It is really good to see our feelings expressed in words :)
